What adds to that frustration is the fact that you need sniper aim with your finger on the scrub bar otherwise you just end up enabling the side menu right swipe or a different feed left swipe when fast forwarding or rewinding a video. Would be cool if there was an option to disable the swipe gestures all together because I find myself accidentally enabling them sometimes when scrolling the feed.
Maybe when the swiping is disabled there could instead be two buttons on each side to activate them or the easier fix is maybe enabling it only when a user swipes closer to the bezel only and not anywhere on the app. Ah yes, 9gag, the beautiful app created to help pass the time. Whether you are bored at home, in a waiting room, or needing to pass the time for whatever other reason - 9gag is your companion. I've been a user for too many years to count somewhere between years and I have enjoyed the ease of the app, the dank memes, but most of all the community.
Since the app has asked me to rate them and I've been putting it off for some time now, I figure why not. These days the memes are more scarce than they once were and it seems like a lot of content gets through to the hot page that is questionable considering many of us have seen it for the millionth time. With enough time I'm sure I'll see it all but thankfully 9gag still is able to offer me some new things I haven't seen. Often I find myself cracking up at the comments more than the posts themselves but then again, I'm still entertained!
